Carrigtwohill 2-8 Aghada 2-7

At the end of a great battle Carrig had just about edged this game. There was nothing at all between the two sides throughout and scores were traded time and again.

It was an heroic performance from Aghada and the lads can feel very proud of their efforts.Charlie Terry led the charge scoring an impressive 2-2 on the night but nobody could feel they let anyone down. If Charlie drove the team on in the forwards, captain Aaron Berry kept us in the game on numerous occasions with a great performance between the posts. Aaron was helped hugely by Luke O Connell, a tower of strength at full back.
Others to impress were Jack MacDonald, Gavin Kelly and Edward Leahy.

Overall, Carrig just deserved the win but this panel did their parents, their club and their mentors proud, as usual.
