Thur 12th June U10 hurling Aghada 5-10 Cloyne 0-1 The under 10 hurlers got their second win of the campaign under their
belts with a big win against Cloyne. We got off to a flyer and piled
on the scores in the first half. The entire panel got a run in the second
half and did equally well. A huge performance from captain Charlie Terry
set the tone for the game and he had a great game overall. It would
be hard not to mention everybody and, as usual, the spirit within the
squad is going from strength to strength.. Next Up away to St Catherines in a couple of weeks. Ardfhir cách!!! Ag feabhasu in aghaidh an lae!!!! |

Wed 4th June U10 hurling Aghada 2-8 Whitechurch U-10 1-2 The under 10s got their campaign off to a good start in Rostellan with a battling performance against a strong Whitechurch outfit. This panel has taken shape over the past few weeks and we now have a big group fighting for places. They are another good group to work with and the spirit among them is second to none. As the game got underway, the home team looked a bit rusty in the first half and the side took a while to settle down. Whitechurch really put it up to us and battled for every ball to score a goal and a couple of fine points. As the game went on, we got into it and started racking up a few good scores. We made a lot of changes in the second half, some late on, and all the players did well. Like all teams, we are as good as our last sub so it was great to see the younger players come in to do a very good job. Eventually we pulled away to win a tight contest. Scorers: Matthew Leahy 1-3, Robert Stafford 1-0, Aaron Berry 0-2, Charlie Terry 0-2, Kaelin O Donoghue 0-1 The panel included Gavin Kelly, Connor Cotter, Luke O’ Connell, Ciaran Galligan, Matthew Kidney, Edward Leahy, Connor O Callaghan, Charlie Terry, Jack MacDonald, Steven Daly, Matthew Leahy, Jordan Tynan Declan Foley, Aaron Berry, Kaelin O Donoghue Robert Stafford, Niall Hill, Ben Foley, Darragh Murphy, Vincent Rohan, Aonghus Ruane, ,Liam Farrell, Jonathan Tinney, Patrick Rice, Daniel Horgan, P.J. Meaney, James Gilroy. Next up – Cloyne in Rostellan Thursday 12th June. Tus maith…leath na h-oibre
