Here they gave of their all in a hard fought A grade game. Despite giving Erins Own a two-goal start we clawed our way back with some wonderful hurling. Playing fast and hard hurling we rocked Erins Own with mighty points from Michael Desmond (0-2), Michael Russell (0-2) and Eoin Healy (0-1) to leave the half time score 2-1 to 0-5. In the second half Michael Daly goaled while Russell added two more points with Midfielder Seamus O’Gormain adding one to leave the Erins Own winners by 2-9 to 1-8. So many played well it is hard to single out any one but Pa Crowley was head and shoulders above everyone else as was Captain Giorgio Corigliano . a bit of luck on the night and we could have done it . team
