AGHADA HURLING AND FOOTBALL CLUB

Aghada went out of the last remaining championship on a sour note. Having ran Youghal to a few points in the u12 final last year we thought we could build on that. Fr. O’Neills had other idea’s having won the B final last year they wanted to go one better and in deed they did. A bad day for football with a strong wind which Aghada had to their backs for the opening half but alas we could make no in roads. When O’Neills lead at the short whistle the writhing was on the wall. indeed they ran out easy winners in the end . what could have happened this team ? but I know one thing our lads will regroup and give the u 14 a mighty effort next year as a great team just don’t go bad over night. If these lads have anything the have heart and pride in themselves so roll on the spring.
