Our lads bowed out of the u13 championship when
Cobh had a big win In a repeat of last years Willie Ryan Final Cobh confirmed their status as Champions Not before Aghada gave them a fright. With the game only a minute old Aghada took the lead with a great goal for Chris Cashman. 9 minutes later Cobh hit back with a goal and a point to lead for the 1st time. Cain Fleming then goaled for Aghada, then as Cobh applied more pressure they added 2-2 before Shane Wall found the net with a great goal from a free to leave the score at the short whistle 4-3 to 3-0 On resumption Cain Fleming ran at the defence and scored a great goal to lift Aghada’s hearts . This was to be Aghada’s last score as Cobh replied with a goal and a point within a minute . Aghada were a lot better than what the scoreline said. Conor Rice played outstanding at centre back as did all the backs .Pa Crowley had a busy night in goals as again he made some great saves . it must be said that the whole team played their hearts out but Cobh were to strong on the night .
